In the proofreading of FE1 Chopin added staccato dots for the L.H. in the 2nd halves in bars 85-86 and in the 1st half of bar 87. Moreover, he added dots also in the R.H. in the 2nd half of bar 85. According to us, it is the gap in the indications of the R.H. that could have drawn Chopin's attention, who noticed some defects also in the L.H. near this place (similarly in bars 89-90). In the proofreading of FE1 Chopin completed the staccato dots in the 2nd half of bar 89 (in the parts of both hands) and in the 1st half of bar 90 (in the L.H.). In GE1 all six dots concerning the R.H. were overlooked, which was corrected in the subsequent GE.
