b. 103-104

composition: Op. 26 No 2, Polonaise in E♭ minor

Single notes in A (→FE1GE)

Octaves in FE2 (→EE)

..

The bass line led with single notes is the original version, changed by Chopin in the proofreading of FE2 (→EE). The proofreading proves that the introduced in many later collective editions change of the 1st octave in bar 103 from F1−F to G1−G cannot correspond to Chopin's intention.

b. 105-108

composition: Op. 26 No 2, Polonaise in E♭ minor

..

In A almost the entire reprise (bars 105-171) is written in an abbreviated manner, in the form of empty numerated bars, corresponding to bars 1-67. Moreover, an additional explanation for the engraver is given: "bars counted from the beginning" [on compte les mesures du commencement].

b. 106-108

composition: Op. 26 No 2, Polonaise in E♭ minor

Pedalling in A & GE2 (→GE3GE4)

No signs in FE

 in bar 106 in GE1 & EE

..

The lack of pedal signs in FE in bars 106-108 is certainly a mistake. The markings – pedalling and also L.H. slurs – are omitted up to the end of the page (till bar 110). All the remaining editions supplemented the pedalling with a  sign in bar 106, but the markings in bars 107-108 were added only in GE2 (→GE3GE4).
