GE2 (→GE3GE4GE5) arbitrarily changed Chopin  to . Moreover, in bar 19 – probably due to an indistinctly imprinted 's' letter in GE2 – GE3 and subsequent include only an erroneous .

In GE2 the engraver overlooked the stem for in the L.H. - only the note head was printed. In turn, in GE3 the reviser erroneously added this note to the a crotchet. The defect was corrected only in GE4 (→GE5).

In GE2 (→GE3GE4GE5) the engraver arbitrarily combined the d1-a1 minims with an additional stem in bars 24 and 26. In GE3 (→GE4GE5) the f1-aminims in the L.H. in bars 23, 25 and 27 were also combined. Cf. the adjacent note.

In GE2 (→GE3GE4GE5) the notes of the e1-a1 fourth in bars 23-27 are combined with a joint crotchet stem. The revision, despite its arbitrary character, undoubtedly corresponds to Chopin's intention concerning the "harmonic legato" – sustaining the harmonic sounds with fingers – which was written in a simplified manner in A.
