b. 1

composition: Op. 24 No. 1, Mazurka in G minor

Title in A (→GE1)

FE and GE2 (→GE3)

..

Replacement of 4 Mazurkas with Quatre Mazurkas does not change the authentic title. The addition to the title in EE is definitely inauthentic; the English editor added the expression Souvenir de la Pologne to each consecutive opus of Chopin's Mazurkas.

b. 17

composition: Op. 24 No. 1, Mazurka in G minor

In GE1 (→FE) Chopin's indication dolce was replaced with the abbreviation dol. We expand that currently obsolete abbreviation to its original full form, which has already been done in EE and GE2 (→GE3).

composition: Op. 24 No. 1, Mazurka in G minor

in A (→GE) and EE3

No marking in FE (→EE1)

The  that can be seen in A (→GE) was most probably omitted in FE (→EE1) and supplemented in EE3 on the basis of GE or by analogy with bars 17, 25 and 29.
