b. 3

composition: Op. 24 No. 1, Mazurka in G minor

 A phrase mark in A

A tie in GE (→FEEE)

..

The slur of A clearly has a phrasing function and relates to whole chords, also the progression of the upper voice g1-a1. Relocating it to the side of the note heads, which was one of routine operations performed by engravers, completely changed the sense of that marking.

Separated voices in  GE1 (→FE)

The thirds on the 1st beat are two-part in GE1 (→FE), which is definitely a mistake. The two-part notation - in the distorted or adjusted form - is also present in EE.

c1 in the chord in A, FE (→EE) and GE2 (→GE3)

A note missing in GE1

..

The note c1 in the chord at the beginning of the bar is barely visible in A, so in GE1 it was omitted. Chopin added it again in the proofing of FE (→EE), it was also supplemented in GE2 (→GE3).
