In A (→GC) the lack of a dot extending the f1 crotchet at the beginning of the bar is most probably an inaccuracy – cf. bar 18 and also e.g. 38 and 40. The dot was added in all first editions. category imprint: Interpretations within context issues: Inaccuracies in A |

FE1 has an erroneous B instead of c as the bottom note of the first crotchet in the L.H. This might have resulted from a slightly too low position of that note in A. The error was corrected in a proofreading of FE2 (→FE3). category imprint: Interpretations within context; Differences between sources issues: Errors in FE , Authentic corrections of FE , Inaccuracies in A |

In A (→GC), probably as a result of an oversight, the g1 crotchet was written without the extending dot. The dot was undoubtedly rightly – cf. bar 17 – added in FE and EE, while the one-part notation used in GE erroneously included the final e1 to the melody of the top voice. category imprint: Differences between sources issues: EE revisions , GE revisions , FE revisions , Inaccuracies in A |

In A (→GC,FE1→FE2) there are no accidentals before the upper notes of the last two sixths, g2 and b2. It is a typical inaccuracy of notation of Chopin, which does not result in any doubts in this context. Moreover, FE1 (→FE2) has no raising b1 to b1. In FE3 both necessary naturals were added, the same notation also occurs in EE. Only GE has the correct text in this bar. category imprint: Interpretations within context; Differences between sources; Editorial revisions issues: EE revisions , Errors in FE , Accidentals in different octaves , GE revisions , FE revisions , Inaccuracies in A |

In A (→GC,FE) the lowering e2 to e2 was overlooked. The accidental was added in EE and GE. All sources have a (cautionary?) next to f1 in the same semiquaver. We omit this superfluous sign in the main text. category imprint: Interpretations within context; Differences between sources; Editorial revisions issues: Accidentals in different octaves , Cautionary accidentals , Omission of current key accidentals , Inaccuracies in GC , Inaccuracies in A , Errors repeated in FE |
