As in many other works by Chopin, EE arbitrarily changed the authentic title of the Ballade, calling it "La Gracieuse". It also omitted the dedication. Cf Nocturne Op. 27 No. 1.
The lack of title and dedication in A is presumably the result of the title page not being preserved. When writing the title page of GC, Chopin misspelled Schumann's name – "Schuhmann".

In EE and FE crescendo is incomplete: in EE it ends in bar 65, while in FE it lasts only for half of bar 63. These errors probably result from the transition to a new line in FE and to a new page in EE.

In GC (→GE) rallentando begins one bar earlier, which is almost certainly the copyist's error. In GE there are no dashes limiting the range of the indication, while in FE there is no indication at all.
