Breaking the slur in EE was supposedly meant to facilitate the engraving. Numerous arbitrary changes of this kind are to be found in GE1 of the Concerto in F minor Op. 21, e.g. in the 3rd mvt., bars 225-227.

FE1 overlooks the a2 note in the R.H. in the 9th semiquaver. The defect was corrected in FE2.

The slur in A ends over the last semiquaver in bar 146, last in the line. However, slur in the new line (bar 147) begins far before the bar-line thus indicating a continuation. Comparison with three analogous passages shows clearly a continuous slur as corresponding to Chopin's intent. It was reproduced that way in FE and GC (→GE). Thus the divided slur in EE has to be seen as an inept interpretation.

According to us, two accents in the R.H. written in A are to be interpreted as long and this is how they were reproduced in FE (yet not in EE). The nature of equivalent signs in GC, despite its similarity to Chopin signs, is already less clear, thus GE has rather short accents.
