EE3 - Corrected impression of EE2

Publisher: Wessel & Co.
Date: 1836-1837
Title: Douze Grandes Etudes || No. V
Dedication: ses amis J. Liszt et Ferd. Hiller

Corrected impression of EE2 in which the majority of its defects were corrected, e.g., the overlooked dynamic and articulation marks, as well as accidentals were added (see the characteristics of EE2).

Moreover, a number of other minor additions was introduced, e.g., missing  marks were added (in the entire Etude), as well as staccato dots and pedalling in bar 7, accents in bar 12, slurs in the L.H. in bars 17-18 and analog.,  in bar 39, accents and slurs in bars 73-74.

EE3 was renewed on a number of occasions with different covers. In the presented copy, the cover includes the information on the already published Etudes Op. 25, thus it dates back at least to 1838. In even later copies provided only with the collective cover of the "Wessel & Co's Complete Collection of the Compositions of Frederick Chopin" series, the dedication is shortened – without "ses amis" and only with the initial of (F) Hiller.
