Publisher: | Fr. Kistner |
Date: | 1865 |
Title: | Douze Grandes Etudes || No. 5 |
Dedication: | SON AMI F. LISZT |
In the fourth German edition, next to the until then published form of a book with six pieces, particular Etudes were also published as single works, as a result of which each of them received an additional plate number between 2961-2972 and the second independent pagination. In GE4 triplet marks in bars 1 were added (digits and slurs), unnecessary accidentals before the octaves at the end of bars 24 and 32 were removed (the before c and the before B), the staccato dot in bar 30 was removed (overlooked?), dots in bars 51 and 52 were added, as well as a cautionary before d in bar 57.
