b. 27
|
composition: Op. 10 No 5, Etude in G♭ major

It is hard to determine whether the omission of the fingering digit over the 3rd note in the editions is an error or a correction. The 1st finger in this situation is most obvious and its indication does not seem to be necessary. However, a deletion of an already printed correct digit seems to be equally unnecessary. category imprint: Differences between sources issues: Inaccuracies in FE |

b. 27-28
|
composition: Op. 10 No 5, Etude in G♭ major
..
The slur of A was inaccurately reproduced in FE, as the part falling on bar 27 (the last in the line) was omitted. Perhaps it contributed to its omission in EE2. The sign was added in later EE,s. category imprint: Interpretations within context; Differences between sources issues: Inaccuracies in FE , Errors in EE |
