According to us, the change of e3 to g3 written by Chopin in FES is a correction of the error of A and the remaining sources. Locally, the version with e3 – in bars 23-24 – is perfectly correct, yet in combination with the following bar, the note does not find a natural continuation (to d3), and, what is more important, it significantly weakens the effect of the constant g3 note, being an axis of the combination of chords in bars 24 and 25. In addition, Chopin's fingering in this place suggests a more significant distance than a fifth.

In FE (→GE,EE), omitting the wedge written over the 1st semiquaver in A may be a result of Chopin's proofreading.

The slur in A in the 2nd half of bar 24 undoubtedly reaches the 1st note in bar 25. Also the relevant slur in bar 25 (the last one in the text's line) suggests a continuation in the following bar, in which, however, it does not end. In the editions the first of the slurs was omitted, which is a patent error, while the second embraced only five last semiquavers in bar 25, which is probably the laziest way of interpretation. Due to the changes of slurs and articulation at the beginning of these bars, we suggest two unified slurrings to choose from: longer slurs in the main text (at the same time, it is the most probable interpretation of A) and shorter ones as an additional possibility.

In the main text we give the wedge written over the 1st quaver in A (→FE→GE1,EE). From GE2 on, the sign was changed into a dot. In all GE,s a dot over the chord on the 2nd quaver was also added.
