Second German edition, in which the score of GE1 was subject to a quite detailed revision:
-
some errors were corrected, e.g., necessary accidentals were added (e.g.
in bar 31), a dot extending the minim in bar 80 was added; -
cautionary accidentals were reviewed, e.g., a
before g was added in bars 18 and 58, while the unnecessary before c2 in bar 56 was removed; in bar 34 a 
was added before a2 at the beginning of the bar, while removed in the subsequent part; - hairpins in the L.H. were added in bar 62, a slur in the L.H. in bar 63;
-
minor, yet sometimes significant graphic modifications were introduced – in bar 37 the long accent, unclear from the engraver's or reviser's point of view, was replaced with a longer
mark; in bars 54-55 the sense of the slur was changed by slightly raising its ending; -
obviously erroneous changes were introduced, e.g., a was added before b in bar 75.
Mechanical errors and inaccuracies are also a part of this edition, e.g., an overlooked staccato dot in bar 3, extending the slur in bars 3-5.
