b. 52-65

composition: Op. 10 No 12, Etude in C minor

..

The 4th page of A (bars 50-65) is less carefully written; in fact only two octaves in the R.H. (also among these being a part of the chords), requiring cautionary accidentals, are correctly written (the octave in bar 50 and the chord at the beginning of bar 55). The remaining 13 either do not have any accidentals (bars 55 and 65, discussed separately) or they have an accidental only next to one of the notes. In the editions all these patent oversights were completed.

b. 55

composition: Op. 10 No 12, Etude in C minor

No accidentals in A (→FEEE)

Flats in GE

..

The version without flats, featured in A (→FEEE), is perfectly correct from the musical point of view. In spite of this, it is almost certain that Chopin forgot to return a1-ahere; as a result, it is the version of GE that is compliant with his intention. It is revealed by the comparison with the prototype of this phrase in bar 15, in which the sound of a1-a2 was unequivocally confirmed by Chopin.

b. 55

composition: Op. 10 No 12, Etude in C minor

..

In A (→FEEE3) there is neither the  raising B to B nor the  lowering d1 to d1. These patent oversights were completed in GE and EE4

b. 56

composition: Op. 10 No 12, Etude in C minor

c2 in A (→FEEE,GE1GE2)

d2 in GE3 (→GE4)

..

The d2 note in the 1st chord is most probably a result of a mistake of the engraver of GE3 (→GE4).
The  added before c2 in FE (→GE1,EE) also seems to be a mistake.

composition: Op. 10 No 12, Etude in C minor

No accidental in A

Natural in FE (→GE,EE)

..

The natural added in a proofreading of FE (→GE,EE), probably by Chopin, is almost certainly a correction of a mistake and not a change of the original version.
