Much later impression of EE3, in which the text was subject to a quite thorough review, including, among others:
-
corrections of its own errors, e.g. a change of a fingering numeral in bar 4, and errors repeated after FE, e.g. adding a
b1 in bar 57; - adding R.H. slurs in bars 8, 36 and 61, an accent in bar 22, hairpins and an accent in bars 34-35;
-
adding accidentals, including cautionary, e.g., a
before c2 in bar 50.
Some of the changes – e.g. a change of rhythmic values of the fourth A-d in bar 48, adding a e1 in bar 76, adding f1 to the final L.H. chord – were most probably introduced on the basis of comparison with GE3.
