b. 34-35

composition: Op. 45, Prelude in C♯ minor

 in FE (→EE)

No sign in GE

..

The hairpins  are the only dynamic indication in bars 33-35 in FE (→EE1). Due to the fact that in the main text we give the markings of GE, we do not consider those hairpins.

b. 35-36

composition: Op. 45, Prelude in C♯ minor

Pedalling in FE (→EE)

Our variant suggestion

..

The difference in the markings of pedalling between GE and FE (→EE) fits here into the framework of two authentic pedalling conceptions present in the entire Prelude. As, according to the editors, both versions can be successfully applied in practice, we propose to juxtapose them in the variant form.

b. 35

composition: Op. 45, Prelude in C♯ minor

No markings in FE (→EE2)

 &  in GE & EE2

..

The hairpins  and the  mark are in GE and are an element of probably the latter of two authentic versions of dynamic markings in bars 33-35. The markings were also added in EE2.

b. 35

composition: Op. 45, Prelude in C♯ minor

FE1 lacks flats in front of the second and sixth quaver. The accidentals were added in FE2 and EE. The latter also adds  in front of b1 on the last quaver. All three mentioned accidentals are also present in GE.
