The lack of a staccato dot for E flat must be considered Chopin's oversight in A (→GE1→FE), as all the remaining bass notes in the accompaniment of that type do have dots. The reason for such inaccurate notation could be corrections, the traces of which are visible in this place in A. The dot was added in EE and GE2 (→GE3).

The interpretation of the slurs in A poses some difficulties, as both the first and the second slur were lengthened and the sequence and the final result of those corrections are unclear. In our opinion, the correction of the second slur is final and binding. This opinion was also reflected in GE (→FE→EE).

Initially, the 2rd and the 3rd crotchet were e flat-a flat-c1 triads in A. Then Chopin erased both a flat notes and this was the version that appeared in GE. The note a flat reappears in FE (→EE), but only on the 2nd beat. This is probably the result of Chopin's correction in FE.

In A there are traces of changing performance markings in the L.H. part. Initially both crotchets had staccato dots, which Chopin later removed lengthening the slur and adding an accent.
