In GE we can see traces of removal of the top quaver beam and the stem to f2, which are present in the remaining editions. This means that the mistake consisting in printing them was committed in GE and that the correct text of this edition resulted from proofreading, performed after the GE copies serving as bases were handed over to the other publishers. The FE version most probably resulted from an unfortunate revision of this initial, erroneous version. category imprint: Differences between sources issues: Errors in GE , GE revisions , FE revisions |

We reproduce the A accent as a short accent due to its small size and its position, almost axial with respect to the note. GE (→FE,EE,IE) feature a long accent, which, according to us, is a less likely interpretation, yet not out of the question. category imprint: Differences between sources issues: Long accents , Inaccuracies in GE , EE inaccuracies |
