b. 134-135

composition: (Op. 4), Sonata in C minor, Mvt IV

..

In the main text we add cautionary accidentals – a  to E and a  to D in bar 134 and a  to f2 in bar 135. The first one was also added in GE (→FE,EE,IE). By contrast, we omit the naturals (cautionary?) entered into A to both a2 in the 2nd half of bar 134. The second natural was also omitted in GE (→FE,EE,IE).

In this context, there is no doubt as to the moment in which the pedal should be released (changed). Therefore, the omission of the  mark in A (→GEFE,IE) – in the light of further, complete markings – must be considered Chopin's inadvertence. The mark was added only in EE.
