In the main text we keep the notation of the last chord in bar 85 and 89 used in A, in which the B note belongs – at least according to the notation – to the parts of both hands. The simplified notation introduced by GE (→FE,EE,IE) corresponds to the actual performance, but it obliterates the sequence of the R.H. bottom voice, which Chopin apparently wanted to show precisely.
Similarly, in bar 97 and 101.

In A the A1-A octaves in bar 85, 89 and 93 are provided with only one  each, before the top notes. The patent inaccuracy was corrected in GE (→FE,EE,IE).

According to us, the short stem of the g minim does not reach the b minim, written above it, on purpose, as it is provided with a separate stem. This means that Chopin saw them as parts of two different voices. This subtlety was not reproduced in the editions.

The interpretation of the  mark as an accent – possible in a different harmonic and, particularly, structural context – is almost certainly wrong here, at the end of a four-bar section. Therefore, in the main text we reproduce the mark as a diminuendo hairpin.
