Two-part notation in A

One-part notation in GE (→FE,EE,IE)

According to us, the short stem of the g minim does not reach the b minim, written above it, on purpose, as it is provided with a separate stem. This means that Chopin saw them as parts of two different voices. This subtlety was not reproduced in the editions.
