In the main text we provide the unquestionable A slur, compliant with the one present in A in analogous bars 112-113. The GE and EE slurs, although compliant with the potentially authentic FE slur in the mentioned bars, cannot be coming from Chopin. The authenticity of the FE slur with a clearly wrong ending is also questionable.

The A (→GE) and FE pedal markings, resulting in a momentary overlapping of harmonies, are, according to us, inaccurate. Due to the above, in the main text we provide markings modelled after analogous bar 283. A similar change was also introduced by EE.

As in bar 277, in the main text we put the long accent placed in A over the R.H. chord between the staves, since it must concern both hands. This issue was also specified in GE and EE by adding another accent under the L.H. part. The fact that all the editions used short accents results from the absence of a defined category of long accent being a separate mark.

In the main text we provide the version of the sources, compliant with the slur present in A in analogous bar 114. To an alternative suggestion to the version of the sources we adopted an extension of the slur in bars 114-115, most probably coming from Chopin.

In FE1 the bottom  to the 1st chord in the R.H. triplet is at the pitch of a1; moreover, there is no  to the top note of the 2nd chord in the triplet. Both mistakes were corrected in FE2.
