Our suggestion

..

In bars 25 and 27, the part of the L.H. in the sources is generally the same, as far as the sound is concerned, yet the way of its notation is different in each of them. In the main text we adopt the notation based on PE. At the same time, we propose to complete the tie sustaining f, most probably overseen in PE in bars 25-26. Such an error is suggested by the comparison with both analogous bars 27-28 and 29-30 in this edition and by the hold of the note in JC and EF.

a1 in JC

On the 4th quaver of the bar, JC has the anote, similarly as on the second. It is almost certainly a mistake, perhaps of Chopin himself committed in [AI]. Such a type of errors belongs to the most often both in autographs and copies.

JC (possible interpretation) & EF

The notation of the sustained bass note, read literally, is unclear in JC (and probably also in draft [AI]), yet there are no major doubts as to how to correct it. We observe one of the more invasive possibilities of improving the original notation in EF. In the main text we give the undoubtedly later improved notation of PE (originally in the treble clef). All manners of notation featured in the sources result in the same sound effect.

JC has an erroneous a1 (with a ) as the lower note of the 1st third. In this manuscript, there is a  before the lower note of the 3rd third (b1).

In JC and GEF, the chord in the R.H. at the beginning of the bar is a crotchet. Without any doubt, it is an error (omission of a quaver flag). In bar 32(r) – repetition of bar 32 in Da Capo written out in notes – the described error does not appear in GEF.
