In the main text we preserve the unambiguous notation of the rhythm of A. Moving a semiquaver outside the last quaver of the triplet in the bottom voice is an arbitrary action characteristic of GE (→FE→EE). The Breitkopf & Härtel publishing house would consistently apply a "mathematical" layout to such groups, denying the currency of the convention used by Chopin even in these places where the notation resulting from such a layout (as the discussed one) was absurd from the pianistic point of view, cf. the Nocturne in C minor, op. 27 no. 1, bars 5-13.

In FE (→EE1→EE2) a  was placed before b2, which is a mistake. Such a developed version, with a b2-d3 third, is conspicuous only when performing the piece with orchestra (d1 in the viola part), which may have contributed to the absence of a correction in EE1, generally carefully revised. In EE3 the  before b2 was preserved; in addition, a second one was added, lowering d3 to d3.

In FE (→EE1), there is no accidental before the 4th semiquaver, which results in d3 both on the 4th and the 6th semiquavers. Due to the C major key (A​​​​​​​ minor) valid from the middle of bar 412, it must be considered a mistake, probably repeated after [A]. The necessary  lowering d3 to d3 was added in GE and EE2 (→EE3).

In FE (→EE), there is no  raising c4 to c4. GE added the mark.

In FE (→EE1), there are no sharps before the topmost notes of the particular groups of semiquavers. The necessary accidentals were added in GE (straight away) and in subsequent EE (gradually, i.e. in EE2 – only the  of c​​​​​​​4 in bar 423, in EE3 – the remaining ones).
