b. 112

composition: Op. 50 No. 3, Mazurka in C♯ minor

No markings in AF (→FEEE)

Slur & staccato dot in GE

..

The lack of both markings – a slur and a staccato dot – is undoubtedly Chopin's oversight in AF (→FEEE).

b. 112

composition: Op. 44, Polonaise in F♯ minor

No marks in GE1 & FE (→EE)

L.H. staccato dots in GE2

..

The staccato dots added in GE2 under three L.H. quavers are an arbitrary revision of the publisher. The absence of a respective addition under the last quaver in the preceding bar is not accidental, since in this entire section (to b. 124) dots were added only in every other bar.

b. 112

composition: Op. 44, Polonaise in F♯ minor

..

In the main text we add cautionary naturals to d and d2. We also add a dispensable  to f, in compliance with the notation used by Chopin in analogous b. 88; the accidental was also added in EE2 (→EE3).

Crotchet a1 in A

Minim a1 in FE (→GE,EE)

..

The change to the rhythmic value of a1, from crotchet to minim, could have been introduced by the reviser to fill the 1st half of the bar in the bottom-most voice. Due to the same reason, he should have also prolonged the c2-f2 minims in the middle voice, hence the lack of such a change supports the Chopinesque origin of the a1 note having been prolonged. See also the note above.
