b. 111

composition: Op. 16, Rondo in E♭ major

Hairpin above the R.H. in FE (→GE)

Hairpin under R.H. in EE

..

In EE, the  hairpin was arbitrarily moved between the staves, and its range was slightly changed. It is an arbitrary change of the publisher.

b. 111

composition: Op. 38, Ballade in F major

 in A (→EE,GCGE)

No marking in FE

..

The  marking extends in A from the last quaver in bar 111 to the first chord in bar 112, so that FE put it only in bar 112. In the editors opinion, it is GC (→GE) and EE who conveyed Chopin's intention correctly – if he had wanted the marking to apply only from bar 112, there would have been no reason to start writing so much earlier in the previous bar. See also bar 136.

b. 111-112

composition: Op. 22, Andante spianato

Short accents in FE (→EE) & GE2 (→GE3)

Long accents in GE1

Long & short accent suggested by the editors

..

In the main text we suggest differentiated accents after analogous b. 67-68 and 70-71. In the face of uncertainty concerning Chopin's intention as to the type of the accents used, the remaining versions can be considered equivalent variants.

b. 111

composition: Op. 22, Andante spianato

in FE (→EE)

No indication in GE

..

The missing  in GE is most probably an oversight of the engraver.

b. 111-112

composition: Op. 22, Andante spianato

Slur in bar 111 in FE (→GE)

Slur to bar 112 in EE

..

The longer slur of EE is most probably a revision based on a comparison with analogous bars, e.g. b. 67-68 and 70-71. According to us, Chopin probably added the top slur as the simplest manner of correcting the inaccurate bottom slur, thus abandoning its proofreading.
