No sign in GE2

In A nad FC, this bar is a replica of b. 193, and likewise there we regard the shorter  sign as possibly inaccurate. For that reason, in the main text we give a longer hairpin, modelled on b. 185.
The absence of the sign in GE2 can be explained by an oversight or a revision, aiming to make this bar uniform with the analogous b. 636. GE3 restored the .

Staccato dot in A (→FC)

No mark in FE (→EE) & GE

..

As in b. 637 and 639, we consider the staccato dot over b2 a remnant of the original version, presumably removed during the proofreading of FE (→EE). However, the absence of mark in GE is most probably an oversight by the engraver.

b. 649

Both the change of indication from  to  and omission of the accent are most probably mistakes of the engraver of GE, although it is easier to imagine an overlooked 'z' in  at the time of reading the autograph, hence in FE. Therefore, it is possible that one or both inaccuracies were initially present in FE, in which, however, Chopin corrected them in the last phase of proofreading.

Long accent for both hands suggested by the editors

..

As a result of comparison of the indications of FE in bar 646 and 648-650, we interpret the mark in this bar as a long accent, referring to both hands. The absence of the mark in GE is most probably an oversight of the engraver.

Trill ending in FE (→EE)

No R.H. termination in GE1 (→GE2)

No R.H. ending, L.H.slur in GE3

Endings & slurs in both hands suggested by the editors

..

The missing ending of the trill in the R.H. must be a mistake of GE. Taking into account the version of analogous bar 332, one can wonder that generally meticulously revised GE3 did not add that ending, although a little slur to the grace notes in the L.H. was added. In the main text, we add little slurs to both endings of the trills, precisely after bar 332.
