No mark in A (→FE)

Short accent in GE

Vertical accent in EE

The missing accent in A (→FE) is probably Chopin's oversight, perhaps provoked by lack of space for the mark – in this (and the next) figure, Chopin still wrote R.H. stems and beams under the notes, which makes the insertion of an accent between the staves almost impossible in the discussed place. The accent was added by GE and EE (a vertical accent in the latter, as in the remaining figures – cf. b. 41-43).
