b. 119-122
|
composition: Op. 44, Polonaise in F♯ minor
..
In the main text we do not include the cautionary naturals present in FE (→EE) next to certain F and f quavers, since we are convinced that the F1-F octave at the beginning of each of the discussed bars dissipates any doubts as to the sound of those notes. category imprint: Differences between sources; Editorial revisions issues: Cautionary accidentals |

b. 151
|
composition: Op. 44, Polonaise in F♯ minor
..
There is no cautionary to f2 before the 1st R.H. quaver in FE (→EE1) and GE. In this context it is a patent inaccuracy (probably by Chopin) – two cautionary accidentals are present in all sources both 2 bars further and in the first phrase of this section, in b. 131, 133 and 135. The accidental was added in EE2 (→EE3). category imprint: Differences between sources issues: EE revisions , Errors in FE , Inaccuracies in FE , Cautionary accidentals |

b. 247-248
|
composition: Op. 44, Polonaise in F♯ minor
..
In these bars the sources include naturals (cautionary?) before the D crotchets – GE before both, while FE (→EE) only in b. 247. We omit those accidentals in the main text. category imprint: Differences between sources; Editorial revisions |

b. 320
|
composition: Op. 44, Polonaise in F♯ minor
..
In the main text we add a cautionary to E. In the next two bars the sources contain respective accidentals. category imprint: Editorial revisions issues: Cautionary accidentals |
