  b. 119-122

In FE (→EE) there are cautionary naturals before certain F and f quavers:

  • in FE before both notes in b. 119 and 122, whereas in b. 121 only before the top one;
  • in EE before both notes in b. 119 and 121-122.

The accidentals may come from Chopin (he could have entered them while proofreading FE1 or even into the basis for FE); however, we do not include them in the main text, since the F1-F octave at the beginning of each of those bars along with and f2 in the demisemiquaver figures dissipate any doubts as to the sound of those notes.
