In the main text we give a trill with a wavy line, although Chopin wrote only  in A. The Chopinesque trills are written down with or without wavy lines, which does not influence the performance in the case of an ornament with a written-out ending. It is difficult to say what the motivation of Fontana was when he was adding a wavy line after the  mark and of the engraver of GE when he was omitting that element.
