b. 26

composition: Op. 28 No. 17, Prelude in A♭ major

..

On the last quaver in A (→FCGE1) there are no accidentals before the middle notes of the chords in both hands – a  before b1 and a  before d2. The patent inaccuracies were corrected in FE (only the ) and EE (both). In turn, in GE2 (→GE3) naturals were wrongly added before both notes.
(NB: both correct accidentals are present in FCI.)

composition: Op. 28 No. 17, Prelude in A♭ major

In GE the bottom note of the 2nd L.H. quaver is an erroneous f. The mistake does not concern the natural present before that note, which is placed at the pitch of g.

b. 28-30

composition: Op. 28 No. 17, Prelude in A♭ major

..

In A Chopin inserted cautionary naturals before c1 in b. 28 and 30, repeated in all subsequent sources (they are absent in FCI). In the main text we keep only the former of those dispensable accidentals, adding a  before c2 in the R.H. part for symmetry.
