b. 19-21

composition: Op. 28 No. 17, Prelude in A♭ major

g1 & c2 tied in FCI

g1 & c2 repeated in A (→FE,FCGE)

g1 (quaver) & c2 repeated in EE

..

In the version prepared for print, hence the latest one, Chopin abandoned the ties to g1 in b. 19 and c2 in b. 20-21, since nothing suggests that respective ties could have been overlooked.
At the beginning of b. 19, FE omitted the rest in the lower R.H. voice, and the dot prolonging the crotchet g1. The EE version of the first half of this bar could be an effort to correct this unclear notation. Interestingly, traces of a deleted beam encompassing the first half of b. 19 are also visible in FC.

b. 19

composition: Op. 28 No. 17, Prelude in A♭ major

..

In A (→FC,FE) as well as in FCI there is no  raising e to e. The obvious Chopin's inaccuracy was corrected in GE and EE.
FC also lacks  in front of the first L.H. quaver, E. Fontana's error was corrected in GE.

e-e1 in EE1

The missing sharps before the 3rd L.H. quaver must be an inadvertence of the engraver of EE1, corrected in EE2.

b. 22

composition: Op. 28 No. 17, Prelude in A♭ major

..

In FE (→EE1) there is an erroneous  before the bottom note of the sixth (e1). The mistake was corrected in all teaching copies bearing traces of being developed with Chopin. A corresponding correction was also entered into EE2.

b. 23

composition: Op. 28 No. 17, Prelude in A♭ major

..

A natural before the bottom note of the 1st bottom R.H. voice quaver (e1) is present only in EE, the only one in which this patent inadvertence of Chopin was corrected. Similarly, the  before the bottom note of the 2nd L.H. quaver (b), overlooked in A (→FE,FCGE), was supplemented only in EE. As far as FCI is concerned, it is difficult to decipher the accidentals here based on the photocopy available to us – it seems that out of 3 necessary accidentals, the top one was overlooked, raising a1 to a1.
