FE2 - Corrected impression of FE1

Publisher: Adolphe Catelin et Cie
Date: (VIII⇒) 1839
Plate number: Ad. C. (560) et Cie
Title: 24 Préludes
Dedication: Son ami Camille Pleyel

FE2 was printed not long after FE1. In the entire Op. 28, FE2 contains some alterations, mostly corrections of the errors of FE1. Most probably they were also made by J. Fontana, although it is not possible to entirely exclude the participation of Chopin, indirect as it may have been. An extensive list of changes as well as more information about FE3 (a later impression of FE2 endorsed by the Brandus et Cie publishing house) can be found in the description of FE2 to the Prelude in C major no. 1.

In the Prelude in G major, the only change is the added  raising c2 to c2 in b. 9, overlooked by Chopin.
