In GE2, attempts were taken to reproduce the text of GE1 without any changes, however, a few retouches were introduced:
- the length of accents was standardized by substituting short marks for longer ones,
- the inaccuracies of placement of the
signs, accents, slur endings, etc. was revised, not always aptly guessing the correct text.
Errors were not avoided, e.g. the accent in b. 69 was misplaced so it is not clear to which note it refers.
