Just like in the preceding four bars, in the main text we follow the version of AF. In FE and EE it was reproduced with minor inaccuracies concerning the placement of the pedal release mark, out of which only the shift of  in b. 64 in FE (erroneous) has an actual influence on the performance. A perceptible difference in sound also appears in b. 65, in which the longer pedal of GE may be considered an equal variant.

In the main text we give the version of GE, which is probably later. In AF one can see that the hairpin blends with the L.H. slur, which could have prompted Chopin to use a verbal indication in [AG]. In FE the hairpin breaks at the end of the line, in b. 74, which EE reproduced in the simplest way possible by inserting a complete mark of such a range.

We reproduce the mark in AF, longer than in b. 94, as a  hairpin, in spite of the fact that the arguments put forward there remain in force also here – the mark must have been meant as a long accent, which we, hence, give in the main text. FE feature a long accent in b. 98 and another accent or a hairpin in b. 99, which results from the transition to a new page in this edition.

No mark in FE

FE overlooked the staccato dot over the a quaver. The mark was added in EE, probably due to the dot under the L.H. octave and by analogy with, e.g. b. 111 and 113.
