In the main text we give the pedalling entered by Chopin into FC (→GE1). The same applies to analogous b. 150-151 and 601-602, although the difference in the placement of the pedal release mark is noteworthy. GE2 shifted the  sign to bar 19, precisely after those analogous bars. GE3 reinstated the original version.

The interpretation of the notation of A is problematic here: b. 30 ends the line, and the  mark goes far beyond the bar line (in b. 31 there is already no mark). We assume that it is a one-and-a-half-bar mark, like in GE2 (→GE3). In the main text, in accordance with the analysis of the Chopinesque  or  marks in this and analog. pairs of bars (see b. 6-7), we give here an averaged, more or less one-bar hairpin of EE. According to us, all marks, regardless of their actual length, should be interpreted here as long accents.

The manuscripts are missing the  before the bottom note of the 1st chord in the R.H. The patent inaccuracy was corrected both in FE (→EE) and GE.

Just like in b. 23-24, in FE (→EE) this pair of bars was replaced with a double bar with a two-bar rest marked with the digit 2. In GE1 the bars were not merged, but in each of them both rests were provided with digits 1. A similar notation was introduced in GE3, in which, however, the ones in b. 48 were replaced with twos. In the main text we keep the notation of A (→FC), which is also present in GE2.
