Chopin overlooked in A (→FC,FE) two indispensable naturals: lowering g2 to g2 in b. 499 and c2 to c2 in b. 500. The former was added in GE1, the latter – in EE. It is only GE2 (→GE3) that contains the correct text.

The inaccurate slur of A, which starts slightly too early, was misinterpreted in FE (→EE). In turn, the inaccuracy of FE – the end of the slur in b. 505 suggests continuation, which is not confirmed by b. 506 in a new line, which does not contain an ending of that slur – resulted in a further erroneous extension of the slur in EE.

The overlooked slurs are almost certainly an inaccuracy of notation, both in A (→EE) and FC (→GE1). The slur added in b. 512 (only!) in EE is probably a mistake; just like in FE, the engraver placed slurs in the entire line; however, he did not notice that in FE the line ends a bar earlier than in EE. In the main text we complete the slurring of A; such a procedure was performed also in GE2 (→GE3).

FE overlooked the  lowering c3 to c3. The mistake was rectified in EE and in two teaching copies, FED and FESf.

In A the  mark is at the end of the page, squeezed above the deleted  marks. It was probably the reason for its omission in FE. The mark was added in EE at the end of the R.H. passage.
