In the main text, we give the complete slurring of FE. The versions of EE and GE1 (→GE2) are most probably a result of the engravers' mistakes. A single slur in GE3 is probably modelled after the slurring of an analogous phrase in bars 95-96. category imprint: Differences between sources issues: Errors in EE , Errors in GE , Authentic corrections of FE |

The missing wedge in EE and GE must result from an unfortunate placement of the mark in FE between the dots indicating the range of the octave sign. category imprint: Differences between sources issues: Errors in EE , Errors in GE |

The missing tie of e may be an oversight of the engraver of EE1, corrected in EE2 (→EE3). However, it cannot be excluded that the omission of the tie was a decision of the reviser who considered the tie to be a mistake, noticing that Chopin could have written e as a semibreve, like in bar 116. category imprint: Graphic ambiguousness; Differences between sources issues: Annotations in teaching copies , EE revisions , Errors in EE , Annotations in FEH |
