The issue of sustaining the minim is unclear. Bar 77 is the last one on a page in Atut and it is devoid of a tie. However, on a new page, in bar 78, there is an ending of such a tie. Since Chopin did not write a respective tie in an analogous situation in bars 81-82, we assume, in accordance with FE (→GE), that the ending of the tie was written in bar 78 by mistake. In this situation, the tie in EE added most probably by Fontana, modelled after the solo part (bars 238-239 and 242-243), is to be considered a variant of uncertain authenticity. In bar 79 in Atut, Chopin wrote a  only before the top note of the octave at the beginning of the bar, which was corrected already in FE (→GE,EE). In an analogous situation four bars later, there are no accidentals before the 1st octave in Atut, which was repeated in FE and corrected only just in GE and EE

The tie of B, added in EE by Fontana, is most probably inauthentic. A comparison with analogous bars in the solo part, bars 238-239 and 242-243, suggests, however, a possibility that the tie could have been overlooked by Chopin.

In Atut (→FE), there is no  before e3, which is necessary, considering the notation with octave sign used in these sources. The mark was added both in EE and GE; in the latter, it was added despite the fact that the use of an octave sign was abandoned.
