Both the change of indication from to and omission of the accent are most probably mistakes of the engraver of GE, although it is easier to imagine an overlooked 'z' in at the time of reading the autograph, hence in FE. Therefore, it is possible that one or both inaccuracies were initially present in FE, in which, however, Chopin corrected them in the last phase of proofreading. category imprint: Differences between sources issues: Errors in GE , fz – f |

As a result of comparison of the indications of FE in bar 646 and 648-650, we interpret the mark in this bar as a long accent, referring to both hands. The absence of the mark in GE is most probably an oversight of the engraver. category imprint: Differences between sources; Editorial revisions issues: Long accents , Placement of markings , Errors in GE |

The missing ending of the trill in the R.H. must be a mistake of GE. Taking into account the version of analogous bar 332, one can wonder that generally meticulously revised GE3 did not add that ending, although a little slur to the grace notes in the L.H. was added. In the main text, we add little slurs to both endings of the trills, precisely after bar 332. category imprint: Differences between sources issues: Errors in GE |

The version of GE, in which c2 is printed in normal font and thus included to the solo part, must be erroneous. Such mistakes in assigning particular notes to one or the other part would occur in a few places in Chopin's Concertos, e.g. in bar 486, as well as in the Concerto in F Minor, Op. 21, 3rd mov., bars 30-32. category imprint: Differences between sources; Editorial revisions issues: Errors in GE |

The absence and change of the staccato mark in GE1 (→GE2) is probably a result of carelessness of the engraver. A dot for the R.H. was added in GE3. category imprint: Differences between sources issues: Inaccuracies in GE , Errors in GE , GE revisions , Wedges |
