Fontana's fingering in EE

Fingering written into FED

..

Fontana's fingering is almost certainly identical with the indication in FED, stemming from a lesson with Chopin. In that copy, apart from the evident digit '2,' written twice in a way typical of FED, first by Chopin, then by Madame Dubois, there is a visible delicate line next to the aquaver. The mark could be interpreted as a digit '1,' yet it is uncertain, hence in the main text, we give only the '2' described above.

b. 190

composition: Op. 11, Concerto in E minor, Mvt I

..

In FE, there is no accidental before the penultimate semiquaver. In this situation, the absence of a  is a patent mistake, corrected both in GE and EE.

Slur in EE & GE3

..

The missing slur must be an inaccuracy – slurs are present over all previous appearances of similar figures as well as in the analogous place in the recapitulation (bars 547-548).
