Frequent changes of accents from horizontal to vertical is one of the characteristic revisions of EE – cf. e.g. bar 320. In this case, vertical accents were consistently introduced also in the next three bars.

In FE (→EE1), there is no  restoring a2 in the last pair of semiquavers. This patent inadvertence was added in GE and EE2 (→EE3). In the same editions, a cautionary  before the 5th semiquaver awas also added, which we include in the main text, as well as a  before c3, which does not seem to be necessary. In turn, we preserve the formally unnecessary  before ein the 5th pair of semiquavers, present in all editions.

Both in EE and FEH, the bar was provided with fingering very carefully, applying the same rule for the top notes of the thirds – the 1st finger on a white key, the 2nd – on a black one (cf. bars 322-324). The fingering of the bottom notes is also very similar – the 3rd finger on a black key and the 4th – on a white one; however, in FEH, the rule is modified when two subsequent white keys appear. As a result, both fingerings differ only in the digit applying to e1.
The last digit in FEH was changed from 3 to 4 – it is most probably a correction of a mistake.

In FE, the 8th and 10th semiquavers in the R.H. are a b2. The harmonic and pianistic context point to patent mistakes, which were corrected in EE and GE3. In turn, in GE1 (→GE2), the 8th semiquaver was changed to a2, yet a  before the 10th note was not added. The absence of corrections in the pupils' copies proves that the pupils most probably performed the correct text, perhaps without checking thoroughly the notation.
