GE: the tie sustaining f2 from bar 9 is not completed.

FE (→EE): the slur begins earlier.

The slurs and ties of A, unambiguous in their meaning and extent, became somewhat distorted in the editions. In GE, due to the fact that bar 10 marked the beginning of a new line of text, the tie sustaining f2 had to be divided into two parts; although the part from bar 10 was accidentally omitted, the meaning of the curved lines printed in bars 9-10 remained unchanged and easy to guess. In FE (→EE), the earlier commenced slur seems to be a continuation of the tie from bar 9, which definitely suggests a change of meaning.
