In A (→GEFEEE) there is a cautionary  before the 5th semiquaver g flat2 . We do not give that sign in the main text as the harmonic background – the simultaneous g flat  in the  L.H. – precludes the possibility of playing g2 that could cross the performer's mind because of the close imitation of the upper voice. Cf. bar 71
