In FE, there are no accidentals whatsoever in this bar. It is undoubtedly an error commited possibly by Chopin in [A] – cf. Etude in F minor, op. 25 no. 2, bar 56. The mark placed in FE could be interpreted as a hairpin, as in GE where it was even extended. However, in this context, it is most probably a long accent. The reviser of EE also recognized an accent in it, and reproduced it as a standard, short one.
