We consider the missing pedalling in FE (→GE,EE) in bars 220-225 to be an inaccuracy of notation, even though it was probably omitted by Chopin himself. We suggest adding markings patterned after the analogous bars 52-54, 231 and 56-57 (we include markings from bar 231 instead of the most probably inaccurate pedalling of bar 55).

We add the pedal release mark overlooked in FE – it is most probably a mistake of the engraver. The inaccuracy was corrected also by the revisers of GE and EE.

In GE,  is under the 4th quaver. It is an inaccuracy resulting from an inept layout of text – the last quaver is placed next to the bar line. There is a similar situation in bar 364 and 368 although in the latter the inaccurate placing of the marking cannot be explained by the layout. See also bars 384-385.
