b. 174-176

composition: Op. 19, Bolero

No slurs in FE (→EE1)

Slurs in EE2 (→EE3)

Our variant suggestion

..

The slurs encompassing two quavers in the L.H. at the transition between bars 174 and 175 and 175 and 176 are present only in GE, in which they could have been added by Chopin. EE2 (→EE3) also have slurs in these places, perhaps under the influence of GE; however, the slurs combine the bottom notes of the dyads and they were arbitrarily added for all double quavers in the L.H. in bars 174-177.

composition: Op. 19, Bolero

Accent on d4-f4 in FE (→GE) & EE3

No mark in EE1 (→EE2)

..

The missing accent in EE1 (→EE2) is most probably an oversight of the engraver, rectified in EE3.

3 slurs in EE
