A does not have a  lowering d3 to d3 at the beginning of the bar. Chopin's patent oversight was corrected – perhaps by himself – already in GE1 (→FE→EE, →GE2).

In A the notation of accidentals in this bar is inaccurate:

  • there is only one  before the 1st chord in the R.H.; moreover, it is written in such a way that one cannot be certain which note it concerns (we assume that it is d3),
  • in each of the triplets, a  is only before the 1st note,
  • no  before the bottom note of the third in the L.H. on the 3rd beat of the bar.

The necessary signs were added already in GE1 (→FE); however, the  before the bottom note of the octave in the L.H. at the beginning of the bar was overlooked. EE and GE2 feature the correct notation.

In A there is no  returning c4. The harmonic context and a comparison with an identical figure four bars earlier prove Chopin's mistake. The sign was added already in GE (→FE→EE).

In A the only accidental before the 1st chord in the R.H. is the cautionary  before e2. From the musical point of view, the version with d3 would be possible, yet a comparison with analogous bar 425 and a  of d3 added – probably by Chopin – already in GE1 (→FE→EE, →GE2) prove Chopin's mistake. Chopin committed the same mistake in a similar context in bar 423.
In the main text we omit the unjustified  before e2.
