The cautionary flat before b1 was added in the proofreading of FE (→EE) as well as in GE2. In the case of FE, one cannot exclude Chopin's intervention, although the revision of GE2 proves that such an addition could have also been performed by the reviser. category imprint: Differences between sources issues: GE revisions , Cautionary accidentals , FE revisions |

In the main text we omit the cautionary before d2. It may be a remaining element of an earlier orthography of the previous triplet, in which the top notes were written as d2, same as in bar 320. category imprint: Editorial revisions issues: Cautionary accidentals |

The version of FE, although generally possible, is most probably a mistake – cf. bar 3. It was considered a Terzverschreibung error already in EE. category imprint: Differences between sources issues: EE revisions , Errors in FE , Terzverschreibung error |

There is no before the 3rd third in A (→GE→FE→EE1→EE2). Chopin's oversight is proved by a present both in the cello part in Morch and analogous bar 5. The sign was added in EE3, probably on the basis of the indicated analogy. category imprint: Interpretations within context; Differences between sources issues: EE revisions , Errors of A |

In A one can see a correction of the bottom note of the last crotchet in the L.H. Chopin initially wrote a b which he then reworked into a c1 and added names of both notes for the sake of clarity – c-g. According to us, it is probably a correction of an erroneously written version of the accompaniment (cf. bar 326) and not a change implying an improvement.
